I am realizing this art tile is my only 4”x4” in a 5”x5” wooden shadow box. This painting glows under UV light. One of my favorite luminesant art pieces. Consider picking up this beautiful work of art and several of my other art pieces for your home or office. I am going to look through my pile of art tiles and see if I can frame more of these soon.
I definitely got my work cut out for me. I will be listing a number of shadowbox tiles and working on new oil and unfinished oil paintings and the comic book i want to create. I had an epiphany on how to sketch my opening splash page for my first comic book. I was trying to explain too much in imaginery. However it did not look as action packed as i need it. Anyway I have been noticing my motivationnhas not been as good as I need it to be to get things do. I was have trouble rendering my oils just right. I will see what I can get down today
I successfully grabbed all of my shadowbox art from my art studio. And I am craating more shadow boxes to hold more art tiles. I am still working on more artisan art ideas, however a encountered a few roadblocks with printing on glass. I want to create suncatchers and Luminaries with my art images. During the summer is a great time to brainstorm and network. If you come up with any ideas, let me know. I am open to suggestions.
As I am adding three new art tiles to my online store here, I noticed a name change from lyric to Latchet. I am still waiting to get a response to the change. In the meantlme i will just continue to add new items to my online store. I hope you enjoy this new edition of my shadowbox tile art, titled “Turtle CloseUp”. Two other tiles will also be added as soon as i can come up with titles. I also want to add that due to construction going on ay my art building I am giving more attention to my online store. I hope you like what you see.
A friendly reminder, in July our parking lot in the door area will be completely repaved. Our building will still be open however it will be more challenging to get to park and get into our building. I will be in on Open Saturdays in June, however in July, my gallery artist friends and I will not be open on Open Saturdays. July is a very warm month and construction will go to September. This is why online shopping will be more convenient for you all. Tell your friends about my Lyric store as a way to browse and shop my artwork.
Post Art A Whirl and I was glad to sell several tile artwork. 🖼️ I was not sure if I would make more art tiles due to many sales. I noticed that the tiles that do sell, are art pieces that look like Aurora Borealis or celestial art. One of my landscape art tiles sold so this made me very happy. So I am back to the art table working on new art tiles. Thankfully everyone in our art studio sold at least one original art piece. I actually prayed this would happen. I purchased new paint brushes and new oil paint for completing four canvas and create 2 more.
I got four of my inked art tiles accepted by the Dow Art Gallery. The art director shared with me that she wanted all four of my art tiles that are 13”x13” inches. I was pleasantly surprised however I got sticker shock at the framing cost. All four tiles need to be framed. Wood and even metal frames are high up in costs. This is definitely worth the investment and I will be promoting the heck out of this in order to profit from these large tiles. I might be sticking with just smaller tiles that fit in small shadow boxes going forward…lol.
